Job description
- Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
o Builds and maintains strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers within assigned accounts.
o Develops a deep understanding of the client's business, needs, and objectives.
o Proactively identifies and addresses client challenges and opportunities.
o Acts as a trusted advisor and consultant to key accounts.
Sales Growth and Account Development:
o Develops and executes strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and growth objectives.
o Identifies and pursues new business opportunities within existing accounts.
o Negotiates contracts and pricing agreements.
o Manages the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
Data Analysis and Insights:
o Analyzes sales data, market trends, and customer behavior to identify growth opportunities and optimize account strategies.
o Develops data-driven insights to inform sales forecasts, pricing strategies, and promotional activities.
o Utilizes data visualization tools to communicate findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
o Monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) and provides regular data-driven updates on account performance.
Internal Collaboration and Coordination:
o Works closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, supply chain, customer service) to ensure seamless delivery of products and services.
o Coordinates internal resources to address client needs and resolve issues.
o Communicates effectively with internal stakeholders to align on account strategies and objectives.
Forecasting and Reporting:
o Accurately forecasts sales and revenue for assigned accounts based on data analysis.
o Prepares and presents reports to management on account activity, progress, and data-driven insights.
Market Intelligence:
o Stays informed about market trends, competitive landscape, and industry best practices.
o Shares market insights with internal teams to inform product development and sales strategies.
- Qualifications:
· Proven track record of success in key account management, preferably within the beauty industry/ personal care industry
· Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
· Demonstrated experience in data analysis and interpretation. Proficiency with data analysis tools and techniques is essential.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients at all levels.
· Able to work both individual & cross function collaboration
- Additional Skills (Preferred):
· Prior experience working with Modern trade, CVS, minimarts, or similar retail channels is highly desirable.
· Knowledge of beauty industry is a plus.
· Strong presentation, negotiation skills.
